Keeping Participants Safe
We understand your concern. We are working hard to ensure that every participating site is taking extra precautions to keep you safe from COVID-19. All GATHER2 site investigators are taking precautions and addressing COVID-19 concerns.
We will arrange a private and free car service to take you to and from your trial visit.
The driver will be wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and the vehicle will be cleaned prior to picking you up.
To be extra safe, the same car will wait for you until your treatment is done to take you back home.
Your caregiver or travel companion will also receive compensation for accompanying you to trial visits.
To protect you and others involved in the trial, you and other participants at the clinical trial location will be prescreened with a list of questions before all of your appointments.
When you arrive at your trial site, your temperature will be checked.
The clinical site staff will provide you with PPE, including face masks, at the beginning of each study visit.
The site staff will also be wearing PPE, including face masks.
Social distancing will be enforced at the clinical trial sites.
